About The Role

Your role as PPC Technical Account Manager:
 

As a PPC Technical Account Manager you’ll play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of clients, with a

special focus one of our key accounts, a Global Forex Broker. Your responsibilities span across multiple

platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Apple Search Ads, and will involve managing a variety

of budgets. You'll be pivotal in turning data-driven insights into actionable steps, following our unique

"Trend to Insight to Action" model.

 

In addition to direct client work, you'll also be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing junior

team members. You'll have the unique opportunity to shape the products we use, influence how we

communicate, and contribute to the delivery methods of our Paid products to our clients.

 

Main Accountabilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients' paid search campaigns across multiple platforms including GoogleAds, Microsoft Ads, and Apple Search Ads
  • Managing annual media spends of up to £4M
  • Utilise the "Trend to Insight to Action" framework during data-driven client calls to provideenriched commentary and actionable insights on both online and offline KPIs
  • Set up, implement, track, and optimise PPC campaigns across several search engines and markets,with experience using SA360 being a key requirement
  • Undertake keyword research, trend analysis, and develop strategies tailored to individual client needs
  • Provide precise cost estimates and ensure robust budget management
  • Write, test, and continually refine ad copy to improve key metrics like CTR and conversion rates
  • Responsible for accurate tracking setup, including generating tracking codes and setting up goals and funnels
  • Prepare and deliver insightful monthly reports and attend progress meetings with clients, utilising the "Trend to Insight to Action" framework for deeper analysis and actionable recommendations
  • Analyse PPC campaign performance and recommend next steps based on a thorough understanding of each campaign type
  • Assist in creating quarterly reports, client presentations, and future roadmaps in alignment with agreed-upon KPIs
  • Collaborate with other teams within the organisation to ensure a consistent and comprehensive service delivery

  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently, displaying leadership qualities and taking ownership of projects
  • Be a technical point of contact with confidence in sharing knowledge, particularly in the use of SA360 for campaign management
  • Exceptional presentation skills, with a focus on regularly developing and sharing knowledge with the team
  • Display remarkable traits of ownership and accountability, ensuring that both online and offline KPIs are met

Qualification/Experience Requirements

  • Substantial experience in a PPC role, either in a search agency or in an in-house capacity, with
    proven track record of managing complex campaigns for clients like Global Forex Brokers
  • Advanced expertise in data manipulation, including data downloading, formatting, and analysis,
    alongside an adept use of SA360 for campaign management
  • Demonstrable ability to proactively improve account performance through a data-driven
    approach, guided by both online and offline KPIs
  • High-level proficiency in building roadmaps and advising clients on strategies in alignment with
    agreed KPIs, without requiring additional guidance or support
  • Experienced in managing medium to large-sized clients, with the ability to delegate tasks
    effectively to junior team members
  • Display a strong passion and keen drive for industry developments, staying up-to-date with day-
    to-day changes and broader industry trends
  • Proven experience in identifying new business development opportunities to enhance client
    service offerings
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and adept at using various interfaces, including but not limited to Google Ads
    and Microsoft Ads
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to our proprietary "Trend to Insight to Action" framework for
    campaign management, aimed at leveraging data for actionable insights
Outline of typical goals and OKR's for the role:

Meet monthly targets

  • Achieve 95% TAM renewal rate
  • Allocate time effectively to keep within the available hours for your accounts
  • Maintain productivity at 65%

Support your peers and the team

  • Collaborate closely with Executives to jointly deliver accurate and timely client reports, meeting reporting deadlines as a shared responsibility
  • Complete any TAM requests assigned to you by the due date
  • Delegate all appropriate tasks to Executives and provide clarity and guidance for all tasks delegated
  • Identify Exec Knowledge gaps and provide training and support

This is a hybrid role split between home and office working, ensuring you work from your contracted office on the relevant allocated day (Harrogate Tuesday, Manchester Wednesday, Leeds Thursday).
